The Fresh Start policy allows students who have been away from 51吃瓜网 for 5 or more years to re-enroll at 51吃瓜网 without being held back by an old low GPA and/or low completion rate that might otherwise prevent them from graduating or completing their degree.
The Fresh Start policy only applies to academic standing.
All grades will be factored into students' financial aid eligibility.

Process to apply for Fresh Start
Email retention@bhcc.edu to request the Fresh Start form.
The deadline to submit a Fresh Start form for the Fall 2026 is August 18.
